Let’s build something together

I’m Mike Sabourin, and I bring over two decades of technical theatre experience to the art of set design. I hold an MFA from Wayne State University for Theatre Technology, with a specialization in Set Design, and a Bachelor’s degree from Kalamazoo College in Theatre Arts.

Currently based in Fort Worth, Texas, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to productions across the country. Throughout my career, I’ve served in various capacities, from set and props design to technical direction, carpentry, and steel fabrication. My production work helps me balance vision against structure. I specialize in innovative solutions to unique design challenges, creating elegant, functional sets for even the most unusual stage configurations.

My work has earned recognition, including a design award for Hair during my undergrad years and a Broadway World design accolade for Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. If you are seeking a seasoned set designer to elevate your vision, I’d be delighted to connect. Let’s make something extraordinary.

Let’s Collaborate.
